BRAND IDENTITY & MICROSITE DESIGN
THE PROJECT
As lead designer, I was tasked with creating the brand identity for the Elder Fraud Hotline, a U.S. Department of Justice initiative supporting older adults who have experienced fraud or financial exploitation.
The key challenge was designing a logo that not only conveyed trust and urgency but also prominently featured the hotline’s phone number. Through multiple iterations and close collaboration with the client, we arrived at a bold, accessible design that effectively communicates with the target audience.
My responsibilities included designing a mockup for a one-page microsite hosted on ovc.ojp.gov, utilizing Figma to create a clean and user-friendly layout. The site was designed with accessibility in mind and included:
A live chat feature for real-time support
A persistent “Quick Exit” sticky button to ensure victim safety
Clear calls to action and concise information to help victims get support quickly
Additionally, I created a one-page flyer for print distribution in community outreach programs. All assets were designed using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, ensuring consistency in branding, readability, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
The final result was a cohesive, approachable visual system that empowered users to get the help they need—quickly and safely.
