ONDCP | DRUG-FREE COMMUNITIES PROGRAM

Editorial Design · Data Visualization · Infographics · Federal Communications

THE CHALLENGE

The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) needed to communicate complex research findings and program outcomes from its Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program. The challenge was to transform data-heavy evaluation reports into visually compelling, accessible materials that clearly communicated the program’s reach, prevention efforts, and impact on youth substance use while maintaining a consistent federal visual identity.

THE APPROACH

As Lead Designer, I directed the visual approach and execution of a series of executive summaries, evaluation reports, and infographics. I established a cohesive design system using strong typography, custom iconography, data visualization, and structured layouts to turn complex statistics into clear, engaging visual stories.

My approach focused on highlighting key findings, simplifying information, and maintaining visual consistency across multiple publications while adapting the designs to evolving research and reporting needs.
